Diving Officer - Peter Loizides
I have been diving for over 20 years and have been a member of Billericay since 2002. Billericay Sub Aqua Club is a great club with a really good bunch of people.
I enjoy all types of diving and training ranging from shore dives to wreck penetration.
The club has it own boat, a small Ribcraft rib, which is great fun and provides trainees a good save diving platform as well as helps them to increase their knowledge of the sea and diving.
Please feel free to email me if you have any questions about the club or are interested in joining.

Chairman - Stuart Wilson
Hello, I’m Stuart the chair of Billericay Sub Aqua Club. I have been diving for 10 years in the UK and abroad and really enjoy exploring our wild underwater world. I like to understand more about all the animals I see below the waves and relish the unique experiences diving gives. Why not come along and visit us and start enjoying diving with your local club! |

Secretary - Jeff Maskell
I joined the Club only three years ago, rather late in life. I had been searching for a local diving club to join, when I came across the Billericay Sub-Aqua Club Website and thought that the members looked like a really friendly group of people, and they certainly are! The instructors and other experienced divers in the club have provided me with tremendous support during my training over the past few years and I have now almost reached Sports Diver Level. I have learned a great deal during my training and have steadily gained experience, confidence and a lot of knowledge about sea life. The diving trips are great fun and I organised a weekend trip to Weymouth during October 2009. However, the club is not just about diving as there are also social functions and we often meet to discuss stories about dive trips and much more over a pint or two. If you have ever thought that you might like to have a go at SCUBA diving, or you are already an experienced diver looking for a friendly club to join – you need look no further! |

I started diving in 1996 when I was at University and haven't looked back since. I love the feeling of freedom I get when I'm underwater, it's a chance to completely forget all the everyday problems we all get bogged down with. Scuba fits in well with my love of travel and I've dived all over the world including New Zealand and Iceland. It's a hobby with many facets. I've taken up underwater photography so that I can bore my friends with the amazing things I see underwater, but as they're all divers they are mostly unimpressed! |
